Sailing Routes
The Abadi, Bebatik, Belanak, Belais, Bilis, Bubuk, Bekulan and Bekalang transports Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Brunei Darussalam to their customers in Japan and Korea. These vessels load their LNG cargo at the Lumut terminal and discharge it at the respective terminals below:

Sailing Time and Conditions
Sailing times between Lumut and the terminals usually take 6 days each way, with at least a 24 hour standby time at the terminals to allow for the loading and discharging of cargoes. Weather conditions at sea varies and can be unpredictable. It depends on the seasons in which the country en route is in.
Work Patterns
All those onboard the vessels have a set working schedules but it is subject to change according to the operational requirements of the vessel.
All Officers and Crews have to undergo a tour length of approximately 4 months. Each Officer is entitled to 16 days of leave per month in which they have served onboard the vessel, where as Crews are entitled to 10 days of leave per month.
Discipline and punctuality is highly important. Failure to comply with the allocated schedules and duties will result in a disciplinary action. Shell International and Trading Company Ltd (STASCO) is currently appointed as the Ship Manager for all Brunei Vessels.
All Brunei Shell Tankers Sdn Bhd (BST) Officers and Crews are expected to adhere to the rules, policies and procedures implemented by the Brunei Darussalam's Merchant Shipping Act 2002, Merchant Navy Code of Conduct and STASCo.
